VANGELIS vs RODRIGO
YouTube by Mik300z
Rodrigo's guitar concerto played vangelis style. The last verse is my own contribution to the track. I guess it does sound a bit like "oceanic" it was'nt meant to turn out like that, I originally wanted to turn rodrigo's classic into a dance anthem, I guess some people will be glad i didn't!

Model 243 programmable pulser
Model 243 programmable pulser - My friend Reed has a giant Buchla system. He told me he was interested in a 242 programmable Pulser. That thing uses an EMS style patch matrix to program 3 channels of patterns up to 12 steps long. I suggested that it may be better for me to design a double wide module that has toggle switches for 6 channels of 16 steps. It is almost finished now. The panel is from Front Panel Express. Reed said he was only interested if I called it the 243 Programmable Pulser and printed "Verbos & Associates Brooklyn, New York" a the bottom, like a Buchla module. I'm making one for him and one for my Buchla.

back of my 243 - This is the back of my 243 programmable pulser while under construction. It shows the wiring nightmare that this thing is.

243 PCB - This is a snapshot of the 243 PCB while adding components. A lot of wire ends up being added between this and the front panel.

243 Programmable Pulser - Finally finished and working. This is my custom designed and built Programmable Pulser. It's based on a 246 core, but with changes to make it easier to source the parts. The LEDs are real pretty. Like a Christmas tree. What's great about this is that there is a pulse out and pulse in on each step. So there is no need for a reset input. Any step can be the start and any one can be the end. A row can be fed into the stage 1 pulse input to make a reset row. The analog input sweeps between steps with a 0-15 volt CV.

Reed's System - Reed's massive Buchla system with my 243 pulser in the mix.

Verbos 243 Programmable Pulser - a nice outdoor picture of the programmable pulser. This module is now being made to order for Buchla systems. Please email me about pricing and details.

Programmable Pulser PCB with switches - Here's the new Programmable Pulser PCB with the toggle switches mounted.

new 243 SMT PCB - For the next round of Programmable Pulsers, I have switched to surface mount parts. Here's a shot of the PCB without any switches attached.

243 Programmable Pulser new panel version - Here's a shot of the new version of the Programmable Pulser. The panel has also been redone. It is now silk screened, rather than etched by Front Panel Express. It's a bit more hassle, but it looks better I think.

Virus TI Atomizer
YouTube by xDIGITONIUMx
On the 2nd day of owning the Virus, I wanted to test out the Atomizer with an iPod plugged in. Pretty interesting for some cheap thrills. Please excuse the audio quality since Vista had audio recording issues. I now have an XS8, and the SPDIF audio is fed to the Virus. Imagine applying Atomizer on the XS8!

Buchla 266
here you can behold the 2 main circuit boards inside the beast.
I built this up from an unused front panel, purchased at the Buchla garage sale. All PCB creation, assembly and troubleshooting has been done in 2008. This is essentially a new module.
A side view shows the sandwich of circuit boards.

JayB-Productions - Trance Live Performance
YouTube by Hanni13579
Title says actually everything. A song with no title, just "composed" to be perfomed live for Youtube. ^^
The rhythm track is sequenced and performed by a Yamaha QY100.
The other synths are (left to right):
- Korg X5D
- Quasimidi Sirius
- Yamaha S80
- Yamaha AN1x
The program running on the screen in the background is Adobe Audition, recording the music at the same time, so I can dub the video with it. :P
No MIDI was used in this video, every sound comes from the synth it was played on.
